Paul Hollow – Legal Aid

A critical report by Amnesty International has warned that cuts to legal aid are far worse than anticipated, creating a two-tier system which deny the poorest people in society access to justice. The study says that the impact of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment Offenders Act – which came into force in 2013 has severely restricted funding.
