Premature Babies

Premature birth is the biggest killer of babies in the UK – with 1,200 dying each year. Others who survive may develop lifelong problems. It remains a major challenge to modern medicine but vital research is still poorly funded. To raise awareness adults and young people who were born prematurely showed their support for medical professionals at the Rosie maternity unit in Cambridge including paralympian cyclist Louis Rolfe was born at 30 weeks.
