Prof Shaz Ansari on Fame in Creative Industries

Fame is a central theme in creative industries like music, film and art – but why do only some creative organisations already highly reputed among peers and clients become famous? A new study published in the Journal Organisation Studies found that the key lies in “expert reputation” among a knowledgeable cultural elite. We spoke to Shaz Ansari, Professor of Strategy and Innovation at the Cambridge University Judge Business School.
